Vietnam’s leading electric vehicle manufacturer, VinFast, has achieved a major milestone by delivering 20,380 EVs in October 2025 its highest-ever monthly sales. This record-setting performance brings the company’s total deliveries for the first ten months of 2025 to 124,264 units, solidifying its position as Vietnam’s top-selling automaker for the 14th straight month.
VinFast Sets New Milestone with Surging October Deliveries
VinFast has reached a remarkable new peak by delivering 20,380 electric vehicles in October 2025, setting a fresh national benchmark for monthly EV sales. This achievement follows its earlier milestone of surpassing 100,000 vehicle deliveries within the first nine months of the year an unprecedented feat in Vietnam’s automotive history. The robust October results underscore VinFast’s accelerating momentum and highlight the growing nationwide adoption of electric mobility.
VF 3 and VF 5 Dominate Vietnam’s Urban EV Market
VinFast’s Compact EVs Continue to Lead Vietnam’s Market
- VF 3 remained VinFast’s top-selling model with 4,619 units sold in October, bringing its year-to-date total to 36,005 units.
- VF 5, designed for budget-friendly urban mobility, recorded 4,450 deliveries, pushing its ten-month total to 35,406 units.
Both models continue to gain strong consumer preference thanks to their affordability, compact design, and ideal fit for everyday urban driving.
SUV and Premium EV Segments Show Robust Growth
VinFast’s larger EV models continued to show strong growth:
- VF 6 delivered 2,524 units in October, bringing its year-to-date total to 16,949, further strengthening its leadership in the B-segment electric SUV category.
- VF 7 sustained solid market demand with 1,190 units sold in October, pushing its 2025 tally to 7,067 units.
- In the premium electric SUV segment, VF 9 maintained a strong market presence with 1,477 cumulative deliveries in 2025.
Commercial EV Portfolio Accelerates Strongly
VinFast’s momentum also extended into the commercial EV segment:
- Limo Green (7-seater) recorded 4,160 deliveries in October, reaching 6,504 units within just three months of launch.
- Hero Green posted 2,920 units in October, bringing its year-to-date total to 11,524 units, following its recent win as “Commercial Fleet Vehicle of the Year” at the Car Choice Awards 2025.

According to Ms Duong Thi Thu Trang, Deputy CEO of Global Sales and Marketing at VinFast, the strong sales momentum underscores a clear and accelerating shift in consumer confidence. She stated,

Enhanced November Offers to Accelerate EV Transition
To further encourage EV adoption across Vietnam, VinFast is rolling out a series of compelling November 2025 incentives:
- Support of up to 100 million VND for customers switching from gasoline vehicles.
- Relief assistance of up to 150 million VND for buyers in storm-impacted areas.
- Exclusive gifts valued up to 50 million VND with select vehicle purchases.
- Free charging at V-Green stations nationwide until June 2027.
New EV Models Set for Year-End Debut
Looking ahead, VinFast plans to roll out two new models in the closing months of 2025.
- VinFast is gearing up to introduce the EC Van, a compact all-electric commercial van designed for efficient urban and business operations.
- The Minio Green, a micro-electric vehicle, is engineered for effortless and eco-friendly city commuting.
Both launches are set to widen VinFast’s reach across personal and commercial segments, reinforcing its position in Vietnam’s accelerating EV market.
