Now available at Mouser, the Renesas RA8P1 MCUs deliver CPU performance exceeding 7,300 CoreMarks and AI performance of 256 giga operations per second (GOPS) at 500 MHz. Their advanced AI capabilities enable a wide range of applications, including voice AI (KWS, ASR, NLP), vision AI (object detection, image classification, face recognition), and real-time analytics (vibration analysis, anomaly detection) — all on a single chip.
Additional features include large on-chip memory, multiple external memory interfaces, and an advanced peripheral set optimized for AI workloads. Built on an advanced 22nm ultra-low leakage (ULL) process, the RA8P1 MCUs deliver ultra-high performance with remarkably low power consumption. Available in both single-core and dual-core configurations with an embedded Cortex-M33 core, the RA8P1 is offered in 224- and 289-ball BGA packages, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.
For enhanced security in critical systems, the RA8P1 MCUs feature advanced cryptographic security IP, immutable storage, tamper protection, and Arm TrustZone technology.
