Montra Electric, the clean mobility brand of the Murugappa Group, announced the launch of the All-New SUPER AUTO on Thursday.
The upgraded electric passenger three-wheeler marks a significant evolution of its predecessor, featuring major enhancements in performance, comfort, safety, and driver convenience.
The new model comes equipped with best-in-class LED headlamps for improved visibility on narrow city lanes and poorly lit roads. It also features radial tubeless tyres that provide better grip and stability while reducing maintenance costs. Additionally, a re-engineered suspension system ensures a smoother and more comfortable driving experience.
The SUPER AUTO is now integrated with Montra Electric’s “One Montra Electric” (1M) connected software platform. This system provides drivers with real-time access to vehicle performance data, nearby charging station locations, and various digital features through a convenient mobile interface.
According to the company, the vehicle delivers a proven on-road range of 160 kilometers per charge. Montra Electric further stated that it currently has over 13,000 vehicles operating on Indian roads and maintains a 3S (Sales, Service, Spares) network across more than 120 markets nationwide.
The All-New SUPER AUTO is available in four color options White, Blue, Green, and a sporty Black Edition with dynamic decals. The vehicle is priced at ₹3,79,500 (ex-showroom, post subsidy).
Deependra Sharma, CEO Designate of Montra Electric Last Mile (TI Clean Mobility), stated that the company designed the vehicle with a strong focus on efficiency, reliability, and affordability for drivers and fleet operators.
The launch is accompanied by the campaign “Aap Ke Liye Izzat Se” (Built with Respect for You), which the company describes as a tribute to India’s auto driver community.
Montra Electric operates across four key business verticals Heavy Commercial Vehicles, Mid and Small Commercial Vehicles, Last Mile Three-Wheelers, and Electric Tractors.
The company’s diverse portfolio includes the RHINO electric truck trailer, EVIATOR small commercial vehicle, SUPER CARGO delivery vehicle, and the E-27 electric tractor.
