Bengaluru-based space technology company ULOOK Technologies has secured ₹19 crore in seed funding from growX Ventures and InfoEdge Ventures to advance its work on autonomous satellite swarms designed for radio-frequency (RF) intelligence). With this investment, ULOOK plans to expand its engineering team, enhance payload testing, and prepare for the launch of its first RF-sensing satellite swarm. The fresh capital will also support the development of indigenous RF sensing solutions and help the company forge commercial and defence partnerships through both aerial and space-based demonstrations.

Founded by Siddhesh Naik and Adheesh Boratkar, ULOOK Technologies is focused on boosting India’s strength in space-based intelligence and spectrum monitoring. The startup plans to utilize the newly raised funds to grow its engineering workforce, improve payload testing capabilities, and ready its first RF-sensing satellite swarm for launch within the next 12 to 18 months.

Naik emphasized that India now offers the right environment for deep-tech innovation, adding, “We believe complex technologies can be developed locally with greater capital efficiency, and the current regulatory climate allows companies like ULOOK to flourish.”

ULOOK intends to allocate a significant share of the fresh funding towards hiring engineers specializing in RF systems, embedded technologies, AI/ML analytics, and satellite mission design. The company also plans to invest in hardware–software integration and UAV-based testing programs to move its technology from the prototype phase to full deployment readiness.

Sanjeev Bikhchandani, founder of Info Edge, noted that the investment highlights growing confidence in India’s deep-tech innovation landscape. He said, “What truly impressed us about ULOOK was the depth of its engineering expertise, the clarity of its applications, and the maturity of its founding team.”

ULOOK’s proprietary payload suite, PulseTrack, offers real-time RF situational awareness across satellites, drones, and high-altitude platforms, supporting applications in maritime surveillance, disaster management, and environmental monitoring.

Manish Gupta, partner at growX Ventures, said ULOOK’s work embodies “a commitment to sovereign innovation that can achieve lasting global relevance.” Co-founder Adheesh Boratkar added that the startup is building “from India for the world,” with a focus on developing world-class capabilities that align with the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.

With this investment, ULOOK becomes part of a rising wave of Indian space tech companies pushing the boundaries of advanced technologies for global markets.
